Prehistoric Italy

Okay kiddo, let's talk about Prehistoric Italy! Before there were cities and towns in Italy, people lived there a *long* time ago.

During the Stone Age, which was way back when people used tools made of stone, Italy was actually quite different from how it is today. There were no roads or houses or even farms like we have now. Instead, the land was more like a big, wild forest with rivers and lakes.

People who lived in Prehistoric Italy were called "Prehistoric Italians." They were hunters and gatherers which means they hunted animals for food and gathered wild plants to eat. They didn't have supermarkets, so everything they ate came from nature!

Prehistoric Italians were really clever though because they made tools out of stone and bone that helped them survive. They used these tools to make new ones, build shelters and create art.

As time went by, people in Prehistoric Italy began farming and domesticating animals like cows and sheep. They started building houses and even cities! And that's how Italy became the amazing country that it is today!
