Premillennialism

Premillennialism is a type of belief that says Jesus will return to earth before (pre) the beginning of a literal thousand year period of peace and happiness on the earth. The thousand year period is described in the Bible (Revelation 20:1-7). During this period, Jesus will reign as King over the earth and people will live in perfect peace and harmony. When Jesus returns, He will bring an end to evil and suffering, and establish His Kingdom on earth. After the thousand years, the world will end and everyone will be judged by God.
