Prenatal care

Before a baby is born, a woman needs to take care of it to make sure it is healthy when it comes out. This is called prenatal care. It's like taking care of a plant before it grows.

Prenatal care involves going to the doctor regularly to check on the baby's growth and development. The doctor will check the baby's heartbeat, size, and movements, as well as the mom's blood pressure and weight.

The doctor may also ask the mom questions about how she is feeling, if she has any pain, and if she is eating well. The doctor will give advice on what foods and drinks are good for the baby and what to avoid.

As the baby grows, the doctor may do some tests to make sure the baby is healthy. One test is called an ultrasound, where the doctor takes pictures of the baby inside the mom's tummy to see if everything is growing normally.

Prenatal care is important because it helps ensure the baby is healthy and has a good start in life. By taking care of the baby before it is born, the mom can help make sure the baby is strong and healthy when it comes out.
