President for Life

A President for Life is when a country chooses one person to be their president and then they stay as president forever. This usually happens when a country has a dictatorship where one person (the dictator) has total control of the country and the people in it. Usually the dictatorship is oppressive and if the dictator is president for life, it's even harder for the people in the country to make changes and have freedom.
