Prester John

Prester John was a mythical king from Europe who was said to rule over a Christian kingdom far to the east. People believed that he was a powerful ruler whose kingdom was like a paradise with great wealth and wonderful things. Prester John became a popular figure in medieval stories, and people hoped he would one day come to their aid and help them become great. Unfortunately, it is believed that this magical kingdom never actually existed.
