Presuppositionalism

Presuppositionalism is a big word that describes a way of thinking about how we understand things. It means that we all start with certain basic ideas, or assumptions, about the world around us. These basic ideas are called presuppositions.

When we learn new things, we use our presuppositions to make sense of them. For example, if you see a bird for the first time, you might assume that it can fly because all birds can fly. This is a presupposition.

Presuppositionalism is a way of thinking that says we should start with basic ideas that come from the Bible when we try to understand the world. This means we think the Bible is the best guide for how to live our lives and how to understand the world around us.

For people who believe in presuppositionalism, the Bible is the foundation for everything they believe. They think that without the Bible, we can't really understand anything about the world or our place in it. They also believe that other people's ideas are not as reliable as the Bible.

So, presuppositionalism is a way of thinking that starts with the Bible as the foundation for everything we believe about the world.
