Prisons in North Korea

Prisons in North Korea are places where people go when they have done something wrong. People who are sent to prisons are usually guilty of crimes like stealing, breaking the law, or doing something bad against the government. In North Korea, the punishments in prisons are usually very strict and the prisoners are not treated very well. They are not allowed to talk to anyone, and they must do a lot of hard work. They also don't get enough food, and some may not get enough water. In some prisons, people can even be tortured or killed.
