Private railway station

Okay kiddo, imagine you have a big house with a backyard. Now imagine you have a toy train that goes around your backyard. You can invite your friends over to play with your train, and you control when and where the train stops.

A private railway station is kind of like that, but for grown-ups and real trains. Instead of a toy train, it’s a real train that stops at a special station that is owned by a person, a business, or a group of people. This station is not open to the public - only certain people are allowed to use it.

Usually, private railway stations are used by wealthy people or businesses who own their own trains or have special arrangements with train companies. For example, a big company might own a private station for their employees to use when they need to travel on business. Or, a rich person might have their own train and a private station at their mansion.

So, just like you control when and where your toy train stops, the owner of a private railway station controls when and where the real train stops. It’s a fancy way to travel, but unfortunately, not something that most of us get to experience!
