Pro-sentence

Okay kiddo, sometimes when people do something wrong, instead of going to jail or getting in big trouble, a judge might give them a chance to do some things to show they can be good. One of those things is called a pro-sentence. It's like a test to see if they can follow the rules and be nice to others. If they do a good job, the judge might decide to not punish them as much. Kind of like when you show your parents you can clean your room without being asked, they might give you a reward.
