Procamelus

Procamelus is the name of an animal that lived a long time ago. It looked a lot like a camel with a long neck and long legs. It was a herbivore, which means it only ate plants like grass and leaves.

Procamelus lived during a time when the Earth was a lot different than it is now. It was called the Pleistocene epoch, which was an ice age. This means that it was very cold and there were glaciers all over the place.

To survive in this cold environment, procamelus had to adapt in a few ways. One way was by growing a thick coat of fur to keep warm. Another way was by having long legs, which helped it move through the snow and reach plants that were buried under it.

Eventually, procamelus went extinct. We're not exactly sure why, but it may have been due to a combination of a changing climate and competition from other animals for food.
