Processional giant

Okay, so imagine a really, really big puppet that is so tall it can reach up to the sky! This is called a processional giant.

Processional giants are often made out of things like wood, paper, or fabric and are designed to look like a person, a mythical creature, or an animal. These giants are often used for big parades or celebrations.

Now, when it's time for the parade, people from the community will come together to carry the giant. They hold onto long poles, almost like a big flagpole, and walk the giant through the streets. Some giants can weigh as much as a small car, so it takes a lot of people to carry them!

As they're walking, the giant will move its arms and sometimes its head, making it look like it's alive! It can be really fun to watch and is a great way to bring people together for a celebration.

So, that's what a processional giant is - a really big puppet that people carry in a parade.
