ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Product order

When you go to a store and buy some toys or things you like, you usually have to tell the store what you want to buy and how many you want. This is called placing an order. Once you've placed your order, the store will try to find all the things you want and put them together for you. This is called fulfilling the order.

The order usually has some important information like your name, what you want to buy, how many pieces you want, and where you want it to be delivered. The store will use this information to make sure they pick the right items, pack them carefully, and send them to the right place.

Sometimes, if you order something online, you might get a confirmation email or message that lets you know that the store has received your order. This is like a note that says "we got your order, and we're working on it."

Once the store has finished putting your order together, they will send it to you. You can then get excited because you will soon have all the things you wanted!

Overall, when you order something, you are telling someone else that you want to buy something and giving them the information they need to get it to you. The process of putting your order together and getting it to you is called the product order process.
