Production–possibility frontier

The production possibility frontier (PPF) is like a line on a graph that shows the maximum number of things that can be made. Think of it like a seesaw, where one side of the seesaw shows the maximum number of one type of thing that can be made, and the other side shows the maximum number of another type of thing that can be made. So, if you want to make more of one type of thing, you have to make less of the other type of thing. That's why the line is a curve instead of a straight line.
