ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Progressive inquiry

Progressive inquiry is a way to learn about something. It's like playing 20 Questions - you ask a question, listen to the answer, and then ask another question based on that answer until you know what you want to know. For example, if you want to learn about how a car works, you might start by asking how the engine works. After you understand how the engine works, you can ask more questions like how the gas pedal works or how the brakes work to get more details. Progressive inquiry is a great way to find out more about something.
