Now, there's a kind of music called "metal" that's all about being really loud and powerful. Think of a big scary monster roaring at you - that's what metal music feels like sometimes.

When we put those two things together - progressive music and metal music - we get something called "progressive metal." It's like a big powerful monster that's full of surprises! Sometimes the music will be really fast and heavy, and other times it will slow down and be really pretty.
