Prohibitory traffic sign

A prohibitory traffic sign is like a sign that creates a rule or a no-no for drivers. You know how your parents might put a sign on your bedroom door saying "Do not enter" or "No running indoors"? The prohibitory traffic signs do the same for drivers.

The sign might look like a red circle with a slash in the middle and something inside that circle which is not allowed. For instance, a car on a white background with a red circle around it means "No cars allowed". These traffic signs inform people about what they should not do while they are driving. They help drivers not to put themselves and others in danger while on the road.

If there is a sign that says "No left turn," for example, cars are not allowed to turn left at that place. They need to find another way or adjust their driving according to the rule displayed by the sign. Similarly, "No parking" means it's not okay to stop or leave your car in that area for more than a few moments.

So the next time you're in the car, pay attention to the traffic signs, as they give you important information that you must follow to keep yourself and others safe.
