ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Project Cuddle

Project Cuddle is a non-profit organization that helps babies who are in danger of being abandoned or harmed by their parents. Just like you have parents who take care of you and keep you safe, some babies are not as lucky and need help from kind people to protect them.

So, what Project Cuddle does is that they have a hotline that anyone can call if they know of a baby who is in danger. A hotline is like a phone number that you can call for help. When someone calls the hotline to report a baby in danger, Project Cuddle sends some very special people called "baby savers" to help.

The baby savers are trained to talk to the parents and help them realize that they don't need to hurt or abandon their baby. They also help the parents find resources like counseling, parenting classes, or even a safe place to stay so that they can take better care of their baby. If the parents still feel like they cannot take care of the baby, the baby savers will find a safe and loving home for the baby with a family who wants to adopt and take care of them.

Project Cuddle's goal is to make sure that every baby is safe, loved, and taken care of. They believe that every baby deserves a chance to grow up happy and healthy. So they work hard to prevent babies from being hurt or abandoned and to help them find the loving homes they deserve.
