Project Prometheus

Project Prometheus is a NASA project designed to explore new ways of sending a spacecraft to Jupiter and its moons. The spacecraft used in the project is called a nuclear-electric propulsion (NEP) vehicle. A NEP vehicle is powered by nuclear reactions instead of burning fuel like traditional spacecrafts. This means that the vehicle can travel much faster and farther than a normal spacecraft, allowing us to explore the planets and moons around Jupiter more easily. The project also aims to develop new technologies that can help make space travel more efficient and affordable.
