Project complexity means how difficult something is to do. It can mean how many steps it takes to do something, or how hard some of those steps are. For example, if you have a project that requires you to build a house, that's a complex project because there are lots of steps and the steps can be hard to do. But if you have a project that requires you to draw a picture of a house, that might not be so complex because it's easier and doesn't take as many steps.
