Proletkult

Proletkult is a type of artistic and cultural movement that began in Russia in the early 1900s. It focused on art, literature, and culture that celebrated the working class and supported revolution. They believed that the workers should create their own culture and not be dominated by the elite. They also wanted culture to help create a better socialism. This meant that literature should be about everyday life, there should be plays and opera that reflect the working class and their struggles, and there should be free public libraries and other public centers of learning that supported the workers.
