Propaganda and censorship in Italy during the First World War

During the first world war, Italy was a part of the Allies and wanted to win the war. One way it did this was by using propaganda and censorship. Propaganda is information that makes people feel like one side in the war is better than another side (the Allies were better than the Germans). Censorship is when something is not allowed to be seen or heard by people. During the war, the Italian government used propaganda to help make people want to support the Allies and help them win the war. They also used censorship to block information that opposed the war or could hurt their efforts to win the war. They didn't want people to be able to hear or see anything that could make them not support the war. So if something was bad news, they didn't let the people know.
