Protect America Act

The Protect America Act is a law that was passed by the government of the United States of America to help keep the country safe from terrorists.

It allows agents of the government to listen in on phone calls and read emails of people who may be involved in planning terrorist attacks against America.

These agents have to show evidence to a special court that they need to listen in on these conversations and that the people they are targeting are involved in terrorist activities.

The law also allows the government to collect information about people who are talking to individuals who may be involved in terrorist activities – even if those people are not part of a terrorist group themselves.

The Protect America Act is important because it helps the government to stay ahead of terrorist groups and prevent them from attacking the country. However, it is also important that these measures are not abused and that the privacy of innocent people is respected.
