Protective sequestration

Protective sequestration is like a special hiding place that is created to keep someone safe. Just like when you play hide and seek and you find a really good hiding spot, like in a closet that nobody else knows about, protective sequestration is a hiding spot for important people to keep them safe from danger.

Imagine you are a princess or a president and there are bad people who want to hurt you. Instead of staying in your castle or office where you are easy to find, you can go to a special place that is very secret and only a few people know about. This place has extra protection like locks, guards, and walls that are really strong. It is also sometimes called a safe house.

Even though it might be scary to have to hide, it is important to do it to stay safe. Sometimes people need to go into protective sequestration for a little while until the danger goes away. It is like playing hide and seek until the game is over and everyone can go back to playing together safely.
