Pruning

Pruning is like giving a haircut to plants. Just like how mommy cuts your hair to make it neat and pretty, gardeners cut some parts of plants to make them healthy and grow better. They use special tools like scissors or pruning shears to cut off parts that are unwanted or damaged, so the plant can focus on growing strong and healthy.

Sometimes plants can have branches that are too long and weak, or some parts that are infected by bugs or diseases. These branches and parts can strain the plant and stop it from growing well, making it for harder for it to get sunlight or water. By cutting off these unwanted parts, it helps the plant become stronger and healthier. It also helps make the plant look prettier and more organized!

Not all plants need pruning. Some plants grow just fine without pruning, and some plants even get harmed if you cut them. That's why it's important to know which plants need pruning and which don't! It takes a lot of care and patience to make sure pruning is done right, so that the plants can grow up strong and happy.
