Pseudoneglect

Okay kiddo, so imagine you have a cool drawing that you want to color in with your crayons. When you start coloring, you might color in more on the left side of the drawing than on the right side.

Pseudoneglect is kind of like that. It means that when people look at things, they tend to pay more attention to the left side than the right side. But don't worry, it doesn't mean there's anything wrong with them or their eyes. It's just something that happens in our brains.

Scientists have studied pseudoneglect and found that it's caused by the way our brains process information. Our brains like to divide things into two parts, and the left side is usually where we start. That's why when we look at things, we tend to pay more attention to the left side.

But sometimes our brains can also switch it up and pay more attention to the right side. It just depends on the person and the situation.

So now you know about pseudoneglect! It's just a fancy word for the way our brains pay attention to the left and right sides of things. Pretty cool, huh?
