Public Diplomacy Council of Catalonia

The Public Diplomacy Council of Catalonia (PDCC) is an organization in Catalonia, a region in Spain. The PDCC is made up of members from various organizations and communities in Catalonia who work together to promote the region’s interests around the world. They use public diplomacy, which is communicating with people from other countries in order to build relationships and improve understanding of Catalonia’s culture, policies, and values. The PDCC members work to invite foreign visitors to Catalonia, host events in other countries and languages, inform other countries about Catalonia, and even share Catalonia’s culture by sending music and films to films festivals abroad. All of this contributes to better relationships with other countries. In other words, they try to help the world see Catalonia in a better light and create strong connections between Catalonia and other countries. This is really important because it can help Catalonia get the help it needs in times of crisis or get support for its values and traditions.
