ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Pujari

A pujari is a person who performs religious ceremonies and rituals in Hinduism. They are trained in different aspects of the faith, such as prayer, chanting, and meditation. Pujaris are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the temple or shrine, as well as preparing offerings and conducting services for the deity. When a worshipper wants to ask for blessings or offer prayers, they will approach the pujari who will then lead them through the appropriate rituals. So, think of a pujari as someone who helps people connect with their faith and the divine by performing religious customs and traditions.
