Punch and Judy

Punch and Judy is a type of puppet show where dolls that look like people are moved around by a person behind a screen. Punch is the main character and he's a funny and silly looking puppet man that wears a colorful outfit. Generally, Punch and his wife Judy get into a lot of silly arguments and adventures that make everyone laugh. There are also other characters in the show like a policeman, a crocodile, and a baby that add to the fun. The puppeteer talks for all of the characters, so it's kind of like listening to a funny story with lots of different voices. People have been putting on Punch and Judy shows for over 350 years, so it’s a really old and traditional type of entertainment that people still enjoy today.
