Puntofijo Pact

The Puntofijo Pact is like when you and your friends agree to play a game together and you each have certain rules you agree to follow. In Venezuela in 1958, different political groups got together and made a pact where they decided to work together and follow certain rules to make their country better. This helped them to have a peaceful transfer of power and not fight over who should be in charge. It was an important moment in Venezuela's history and helped to establish democracy in the country.
