Push–pull converter

A push-pull converter is like a magic box that helps change the electricity that comes from a power source into a form that can be used by your TV, phone or computer.

Imagine you have a big bucket of water (power source) and you want to use it to fill a smaller bucket (device). But the water in the big bucket is too much for the smaller bucket, so you need to pour it in a way that lets you control the amount that goes into the smaller bucket.

This is where the push-pull converter comes in. It helps you control the flow of the water, so you can pour just the right amount into the smaller bucket without wasting any water.

The converter has two switches inside it that turn on and off really fast, like a light switch flickering on and off 1000 times a second. When one switch turns on, it pushes the water (electricity) through a coil and into the device. When the other switch turns on, it pulls the water back through the coil and back into the converter.

This back and forth 'push-pull' action turns the electricity into a different type that the device needs to work properly. It's like putting the water through a filter that makes it clean and safe to drink.

So, in simple terms, a push-pull converter is a special box that helps turn the electricity from a big bucket (power source) into the right amount for a smaller bucket (device), by using two switches that turn on and off really fast to control the flow of electricity.
