Pyrotechnics

Pyrotechnics are like fireworks. They are made up of different chemicals that can make bright lights, loud sounds, and cool patterns.

When you light a firework, you are actually lighting a fuse that burns down to the chemicals inside. The chemicals then react with each other and make a big explosion.

Pyrotechnics can also be used in movies and at concerts to make awesome special effects. For example, if a movie needs a scene with a big explosion, they might use pyrotechnics to make it look real.

But, pyrotechnics can be dangerous if you don't use them properly. So, it's important to always have an adult help you and follow all of the safety rules when using them.
