ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Quantum cognition

Quantum cognition is a new theory that suggests our thoughts and decisions might be explained by the same laws that govern particles like electrons and atoms. This theory is based on the idea that the same laws of quantum mechanics which apply in the very small world of particles also apply in the larger world of our minds. Instead of the classical model of thinking, where our brains process information through logic, quantum cognition suggests that our brains might actually be using a kind of quantum logic to process information, where particles can be both fuzzy and uncertain. In quantum cognition, this would mean that we can use both fuzzy and certain decisions at the same time to solve problems and make decisions.
