ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Quasi-Monte Carlo method

Quasi-Monte Carlo is a method for doing math problems. It's like a shortcut to help figure out the answer faster. Instead of doing a million calculations, it looks for patterns in the data and uses those to figure out the answer quickly and accurately. It's a bit like a game of Memory - it looks at the pictures that match up and skips over the ones that don't, so it doesn't have to take as long to find the answer.
