Quinquennial Visit Ad Limina

Okay kiddo, so you know how there are people called bishops who are in charge of running different churches? Well, every five years they go on a special trip to visit the big boss of their church, who lives in a place called Rome. This trip is called the quinquennial visit ad limina.

During this trip, the bishops meet with the big boss, called the Pope, and they talk about how things are going in their churches. They also visit some really important places in Rome, like the tombs of some very important people from the past.

The trip is really important because it helps the bishops remember that they are all part of a bigger church family, and that they all rely on each other to make sure that the churches are running smoothly. Plus, it's always fun to travel and see new places!
