Quirks mode

Quirks mode is an old way of viewing webpages on a computer. When you go to a webpage in quirks mode, the webpage will look different than it would if you saw it in a more modern view, called "standards mode". Quirks mode is mostly used for older websites that were built before standards mode was available. Some websites might look strange if you view them in quirks mode because the webpage was not designed for it.
