Race and genetics

Race is not scientifically based. It is something people use to describe people based on the way they look, like the color of their skin, the color of their hair, the shape of their eyes, etc. However, genetics does play a role in some of those physical characteristics. Genetics are the traits that you get from your parents. Things like your eye color and hair color are determined by your genes, which you get from your parents.
