Race and video games

So, race is a thing that has to do with how people look. Sometimes people have different skin colors, like some people have light skin and some people have dark skin. And video games are games that you can play on your computer or TV.

Sometimes in video games, they have characters that look different from each other because they want to show different kinds of people. But sometimes they don't do it very well, and they make the characters look like stereotypes. That means they make them look like what people think they should look like because of their skin color or where they come from, instead of showing them as real people.

So, some people think it's important to make sure that video games show different kinds of people in a good way because everyone should be able to see themselves in the games they play.
