Racial Equality Proposal, 1919

Okay, kiddo. So, a long time ago in 1919, some people wanted everyone to be treated the same no matter what their skin color was. They called this "racial equality." They made a proposal, which is like a really big idea that they wanted to happen. They said that all countries should agree to treat people of different races equally and with respect. They thought this was very important because some people were being treated unfairly just because of their skin color. The proposal was talked about a lot but unfortunately, not everyone agreed with it at the time. However, it was a very important step towards making the world a fair and just place for everyone, no matter what they look like.
