ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Racial equality

Hello little one! Today, we are going to talk about something really important called "racial equality".

You know how every person has different skin color, some are white, some are black, some are brown and some are yellow. Racial equality means that no matter what skin color a person has, they should be treated fairly and equally without any discrimination.

Imagine if we all had the same hair color but some people were treated differently just because of the color of their hair. That wouldn't be very nice, would it? The same thing goes for skin color.

Some people used to believe that people with a certain skin color were better than others. But we know now that this is not true. Every person is valuable and important, no matter what their skin color is. That's why we need to treat everyone with love, kindness, and respect.

Sometimes people can be treated unfairly because of their skin color. This is called racism. We need to stand up against racism and work towards making sure that everyone is treated equally.

So, racial equality means treating everyone the same, no matter what their skin color is. And that's a good thing, isn't it?
