Racial formation theory

Racial Formation theory is a way of thinking about race and how it affects people in society. It looks at how race can shape our identities, our social relationships, and the way race is used to divide us. It focuses on how race is created, maintained and changed in different societies. It looks at how race shapes power and how ideas about race can change over time. In the end, Racial Formation theory tries to explain why racial differences still exist in our society today.
