Racism in Cuba

Okay kiddo, so racism is a really big problem in Cuba. Do you know what racism is? It’s when people believe that one race is better than another race just because of the color of their skin.

In Cuba, there are a lot of people who have darker skin because their ancestors were brought there from Africa as slaves. And some people with lighter skin think they are better than those with darker skin. This is really unfair and mean.

Even though everyone is supposed to be equal in Cuba, there are still some places where darker-skinned people aren’t treated as well as lighter-skinned people. They might not get good jobs, or they might not be able to go to certain schools or clubs.

This is really sad and wrong. Everyone should be treated the same, no matter what they look like. The people in charge of Cuba are working to make things better by supporting anti-racist laws and education. It’s important to treat everyone with kindness and respect, no matter what their skin color is.
