Radar warning receiver

Radar Warning Receivers (RWRs) are special pieces of equipment mounted on planes, ships, and other vehicles. They detect radar signals that are sent out by other planes, ships, and vehicles. When they detect a radar signal, they'll make a loud sound to alert the pilot or crew. This helps the pilot or crew know that another plane or vehicle is nearby and that they may need to take evasive action.
