Radiator (engine cooling)

Okay kiddo, so imagine you are playing with a really cool toy car that has a little engine inside. Just like how you get hot and sweaty when you run around, the engine also gets really hot when it runs.

Now, imagine you have a little fan that blows on your face and makes you feel cooler. That's kind of like what a radiator does for the engine.

A radiator is a special part in the toy car that helps to cool down the engine so it doesn't get too hot and break. It's kind of like a big metal box with lots of little tubes inside that the hot engine coolant flows through.

When the hot coolant flows through the tubes inside the radiator, cool air blows over the tubes and cools down the liquid. It's kind of like blowing on a hot bowl of soup to cool it down.

So overall, the radiator is really important because it keeps the engine in the toy car (or a real car) from getting too hot and breaking, just like how a fan keeps you from getting too sweaty and uncomfortable when you play.
