Radical ideal

Okay kiddo, today we are going to learn about a fancy phrase called "radical ideal". Have you ever heard the word "radical"? It means something that is very different and maybe even extreme compared to what most people believe or do.

Now, an "ideal" is like a perfect idea or goal. For example, wanting everyone in the world to be happy and have enough food to eat and a safe place to live is an ideal.

When we put "radical" and "ideal" together, it means someone has a really big, different, and maybe even extreme idea for how things should be. This person might want to change the world in a big way, or do things very differently from the way things are done right now.

Sometimes, radical ideals can seem a little scary or maybe even impossible, but they can also inspire people to work towards making big changes and improving the world. Does that make sense, kiddo?
