Radio Londres

Radio Londres was a radio station created during World War II in London, England. It was used by the French resistance to send secret messages to the French people living under Nazi occupation in France.

Imagine a secret club where members use codes and secret words to communicate with each other. Radio Londres was like a club where people sent secret messages in a language only some could understand. The messages were disguised as normal news or weather reports, but contained secret codes and signals that told the French resistance fighters what to do to fight against the Nazis.

People in France who secretly listened to this radio station had to be very careful not to get caught, because if the Nazis found out they were listening to secret messages, they could be punished or killed. So Radio Londres helped keep the French resistance alive and fighting against the Nazis, while also giving hope to the French people that they were not alone in their struggle against the occupation.
