ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Radio-controlled helicopter

A radio-controlled helicopter is a toy helicopter that you can control with a remote. It's just like a remote car, but instead of driving on the ground, it can fly in the air like a real helicopter!

Before you play with your helicopter, you need to put batteries in the remote and the helicopter. Once everything is set up, you turn on the remote and the helicopter. The remote sends signals, like messages, to the helicopter, telling it what to do.

With different buttons and joysticks on the remote, you can make the helicopter fly up and down, forward and back, and turn left or right. It's just like a video game!

Flying a radio-controlled helicopter takes practice, and it can be a lot of fun as you learn how to control it. But it's important to always be safe and follow the instructions that come with the toy.
