Raisin bread

Raisin bread is yummy bread that has small fruit pieces called raisins baked inside. It starts with flour, which comes from grains like wheat. Then, bakers mix in water, yeast, and a little sugar to make the dough. Yeast is like a tiny little living thing that eats sugar and produces tiny bubbles that make the bread fluffy.

After mixing, the dough needs to rest for a while so the yeast can do its work. Then, bakers add some delicious spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, or clove, as well as raisins, which are dried grapes. These ingredients get mixed in, and then the dough is placed in a loaf pan and left to rise again.

Next, the bread gets put in the oven and baked at a high temperature. During baking, the heat from the oven makes the dough rise even more and turns it into firm, golden bread. The raisins inside the bread become moist and tasty, making for a delicious and nutritious snack or meal. Finally, the bread is taken out of the oven, and can be spread with butter or jam, or enjoyed on its own.
