The Ramayana is a famous Indian story about a brave prince named Rama. Rama was a prince of a kingdom called Ayodhya. He had to go away to another kingdom called Lanka to fight an evil king who had taken Rama's beautiful wife, Sita, away.
Rama went to Lanka with the help of a magical monkey and his army. He defeated the evil king but he found out that the king had kidnapped Sita. So, Rama and Sita had to go through many dangerous adventures to rescue her. With the help of gods and goddesses they eventually rescued Sita and returned to their kingdom of Ayodhya.
The Ramayana teaches us that good overcomes evil, and that nobody is stronger than Rama and Sita's love for each other.
