Ramses II
Ramses II was a very important king who lived a very long time ago in a place called Egypt. He was a pharaoh, which means he was like a king, but he was in charge of a whole bunch of people, not just one city or town.
Ramses II was really famous because he ruled for a really long time - like, even longer than you've been alive! He became pharaoh when he was just a little boy, and he stayed in charge for more than 60 years. That's a really long time!
During his reign, Ramses II built a lot of very cool things, like big temples and statues. Some of these things are still there today, even though he lived so long ago. He was also really good at fighting battles and protecting his people from people who tried to hurt them.
Even though Ramses II is no longer alive, people still talk about him and study him today because he was such an important king and did so many cool things.
