Rape in the Bible

Rape is when someone does something very bad and hurts another person by having sex with them without their permission. In the Bible, there are stories about some people who did this to others. They were doing something very terrible that is against the rules and makes God very sad.

In one story, a man named Shechem wanted to marry a woman named Dinah, but he didn't ask her or her family if they wanted that. Instead, he took her and had sex with her without her permission. This made Dinah's brothers very angry, and they punished Shechem for what he did. God didn't like what Shechem did, and He punished him too.

In another story, a woman named Tamar was raped by her own brother, Amnon. This was very bad because family members should never do that to each other. Tamar was very sad and scared after this happened, and it caused a lot of trouble in their family.

God doesn't like it when people hurt others, and He wants us to be kind and respectful to everyone. It's important to always ask for someone's permission before doing anything with them, especially when it comes to sex. Rape is never okay, and we should always stand up for those who have been hurt and help them.
